For the purposes of the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018, Bridport Kitchens Ltd is the data controller responsible for your personal information.
We collect personal information that you provide directly to us when making an enquiry, requesting a showroom consultation, or commissioning a project. This typically includes your name, telephone number, email address, property installation address, and project details (such as architectural plans, sketches, or room measurements).
If you enter into a contract with us, we also record invoice and transaction details required for accounting, billing, and warranty administration.
We use your personal data to prepare design layouts and quotations, communicate regarding your enquiry, manufacture bespoke furniture, coordinate installation by our team, process payments, and provide aftercare under our 3-year workmanship guarantee.
We will never sell, rent, or trade your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
We process your data under the lawful bases of: (a) Contractual necessity — to fulfill quotes, orders, and installations requested by you; (b) Legitimate business interests — to manage customer communications and ensure quality standards; and (c) Legal obligation — to maintain statutory accounting and tax records required by UK law.
Your personal information is handled with care by our in-house team. It is only shared with third parties where strictly necessary to deliver your project — such as specialized appliance manufacturers, stone templaters, or delivery partners — or where required by law.
We retain customer project and quotation records for the duration of the project and the 3-year guarantee period. Financial and contractual transaction records are retained for seven years in compliance with HMRC statutory accounting requirements.
This website does not deploy third-party advertising, re-targeting, or behavioral tracking cookies. Any cookies utilized are strictly technical and essential for the operation, navigation, and security of the website.
